Allowed and Prohibited items

What can I bring? - Sunglasses - Earplugs - General Backpacks that do not exceed 22 inches long and do not protrude similar to a delivery bag. Standard back packs and camp backpacks are fine as long as they do not exceed these limits. - State ID, Drivers License and or any valid Identification that matches your ticket purchase name for will-call. - Cosplay! Wear your best and creative cosplay, but be sure to follow our cosplay rules on this page - A positive, friendly and festive attitude! - Phone charger and or phone charging case - Digital cameras, basic and non commercial. - Non-glass refillable water bottles are welcomed. - Shoes that are comfortable to wear the entire day. What not to bring! (Prohibited items) - Fireworks and or flammable objects. - Alcohol, Illegal substances, or drugs under ANY circumstances are NOT permitted. If you are under legal medication then you will be required to provide supporting legal documents. If alcohol, illegal drugs or substances are used or presented, then you will be immediately removed from the festival with no refund, will be permanently banned from ALL events and will be presented to authorities. In other words DO NOT even try. - NO legal or illegal weapons under any and all circumstances. If you are using a prop for your cosplay, then please follow our cosplay rules below. - Lawn, hard chairs or anything considered furniture. - Enlarged backpacks, travel or suitcases. Back packs or personal bags smaller than 22 inches long are only permitted. ALL bags will be thoroughly checked. - Personal electric vehicles such as scooters, skateboards, or motorized vehicles that are not under ADA requirements. In other words, if you do not have a medical condition requiring a wheelchair and or motorized wheelchair for ADA accessibility, then it is NOT allowed. - Animals or pets of any kind unless it is a service animal. Please see ADA Access for more information. - Outside food or beverages. - Instruments of any kind. - Laser pointing devices. - Any glass products or containers. - Smoking products including but not limited to E-cigs, Vape and or Tobacco. - Cameras that can harm other patrons or pose a threat such as Drones. - Fliers, Banners or promotional materials not authorized or approved by Anime Wonder. Solicitations WILL NOT be permitted, and is a one way ticket to removal from the event with no reimbursement. - No outside vending or illegal vending is allowed. If interested in vending, please reach out to us at the appropriate contact information in the Contacts & Info section. - Professional camera equipment such as tripods, zoom lenses or commercial rigging. If interested in shooting professionally and providing media coverage, then please visit our Media Coverage application Be mindful to keep your valuable possessions at home, in your car or hotel. Our staff will not be responsible for any and all lost possessions.

General Cosplay Rules

All forms of cosplay are encouraged as Cosplay plays a huge role in Anime, Festival and Convention culture. We do not hinder creativity, but there are still strict rules that apply for cosplayers to follow before attending Anime Wonder. - All cosplay and costumes must be appropriate to wear in front of family, kids and friends. In other words, if it is not legal to wear openly in the public eye, it is not acceptable nor permitted in Anime Wonder. - Complete nudity or partial nudity as part of your cosplay or costume is not permitted. Our audience and fans consists of 17 and under. No exceptions. - Any cosplay portraying or implying hate speech against homophobia, religion, politics or racism, even its featured in any of your favorite animes/films/comics, is NOT permitted under any circumstances. For example; cosplaying Call Of Duty and or Halo is acceptable (with the exception that props are acceptable as per above) cosplaying a hate group such as a Nazi is not. - Anime Wonder is STRICT on harassment. Any kind of Harassment is NOT acceptable, nor is any cosplay that is intended to harass or provoke others in any form. - Hentai and/or Ahegao clothing (overly sexualized), cosplay, or references are strictly prohibited from Anime Wonder Festival. Our Festival platform serves youth 17yrs and under. - Permitted cosplay props: PVC, Wooden and Plastic based props (Swords or guns with orange tips). Forbidden props: Any and all items considered weapons, any sharp objects that are metal such as daggers, knives and swords, bb guns and/or any firearms. NO EXCEPTIONS

Code Of Conduct

Welcome to Anime Wonder! As we come together to celebrate our shared passion for anime and Japanese culture, it's crucial that we foster a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for everyone. By participating in Anime Wonder, you agree to uphold the following Code of Conduct: 1. Respect and Inclusivity - Treat all attendees with respect, kindness, and empathy, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, appearance, religion, or fandom preferences. - Respect personal boundaries and always ask for consent before initiating physical contact or taking photos. 2. Harassment-Free Environment - Harassment in any form, including verbal comments, unwelcome advances, intimidation, offensive language, or inappropriate imagery, will not be tolerated. - If you experience or witness harassment, discrimination, or misconduct, please report it to event staff immediately. We are here to support you and take appropriate action. For more information on our Event Safety and Harassment Policy, visit HERE 3. Cosplay Etiquette - Appreciate cosplayers' creativity and craftsmanship without objectifying or making them feel uncomfortable. - Ensure that costumes and props comply with event rules. Safety is paramount, so handle props responsibly and securely store them when not in use. 4. Alcohol and Substance Use - Consume alcohol responsibly within designated areas, if permitted by event policies. Public intoxication or substance abuse is strictly prohibited. - The use of illegal drugs or any other controlled substances is strictly prohibited. 5. Safety and Security - Follow all event rules, guidelines, and instructions provided by staff and security personnel. - In emergencies, remain calm and cooperate with staff and security to ensure the safety of everyone. 6. Hygiene and Cleanliness - Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness throughout the event. Shower regularly, wear deodorant, and dispose of trash responsibly. - Help keep event areas clean and tidy by disposing of trash in designated bins and respecting the venue's property. 7. Respect Venue Policies - Adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the event venue, including fire safety regulations, smoking policies, and occupancy limits. - Be mindful of noise levels and considerate of the surrounding community. 8. Children's Safety - Supervise children under your care at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being during the event. - Familiarize yourself with designated family-friendly areas and activities within the event. 9. Cyberbullying and Online Conduct - Show respect in online interactions and refrain from cyberbullying, trolling, or engaging in harmful online behavior. - Remember that your online actions can impact others' experiences, both during and after the event. 10. Compliance with Laws and Regulations - Follow all local, state, and federal laws and regulations while attending Anime Wonder. - Any illegal activity, such as theft, vandalism, or assault, will be reported to law enforcement. Reporting Violations: If you witness or experience any violations of this Code of Conduct, please report them to event staff or security immediately. Event Vendor Policy

Policy update: 4/25/2024 Welcome to our Anime Wonder Vendor Policy. We are delighted that you are considering participating in our event as a vendor. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees and vendors alike, we have established the following guidelines and policies: 1. Vendor Eligibility: Exhibitors To maintain the authenticity and integrity of our event, vendors must adhere to the following eligibility criteria: Officially Licensed Products: All merchandise for sale in the exhibit hall must be officially licensed. Vendors are prohibited from selling unofficial, unlicensed, or bootleg products. This encompasses a wide range of items, including but not limited to: - Blu-rays and DVDs - Posters and Wall Scrolls - Toys and Plush - Replicas and Props - Costumes and Apparel - Jewelry and Accessories - Parody Goods and Apparel Parody Goods and Apparel: While the sale of parody goods and apparel is permitted, it must genuinely embody a transformative or satirical nature. For instance, items featuring Demon Slayer art may be considered bootleg merchandise if they lack genuine transformative elements. Fan Art and Fan Crafts: Generally, the sale of fan art and fan crafts is not permitted as an exhibitor. However, exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Doujinshi: The sale of Japanese doujinshi is allowed and does not fall under the bootleg merchandise policy. These items are recognized as a unique aspect of anime culture and are therefore exempt from this restriction. Artist Alley - All artwork and merchandise must be original creations of the artist or collaboratively produced with credit given to all contributors. - Fan art and derivative works inspired by existing anime, manga, or other intellectual properties are permitted, provided they are significantly transformative and distinguishable from the original source material. - Artwork featuring explicit or inappropriate content is prohibited to be displayed to the public. All 18+ content must be hidden from public display and should only be available for customers to view privately upon request. 2. Application Process - Interested vendors must complete and submit the vendor application form. - Submission of the application does not guarantee acceptance. Anime Wonder reserve the right to accept or reject applications based on various factors, including but not limited to product relevance, space availability, and adherence to event themes. 3. Booth Assignments - Booth assignments will be determined by Anime Wonder and communicated to vendors prior to the event. - Requests for specific booth locations will be considered but are not guaranteed. - Booth sharing is not permitted. Each booth is designated to one business entity only. 4. Setup and Teardown - Vendors are responsible for setting up and dismantling their booths within the designated setup and teardown times provided by Anime Wonder. - Vendors must keep their booth space clean and tidy throughout the event. - Any damage caused to the venue during setup or teardown will be the responsibility of the vendor. 5. Display Guidelines - All displays, signage, and merchandise must be appropriate for all ages. - Offensive or explicit material is strictly prohibited. - Vendors are encouraged to decorate their booths creatively to enhance the overall atmosphere of the event. - Large displays or structures must be approved by Anime Wonder in advance. Generally, all displays are allowed within your allocated vendor space, as long as they do not obstruct pathways or pose hazards to patrons. 6. Sales and Transactions - Vendors are solely responsible for conducting sales and transactions at their booths. - All sales must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including tax requirements and submissions. - Anime Wonder, and staff, are not liable for any financial transactions or disputes between vendors and customers. 7. Refunds, Exchanges, Credits and Fees Except as explicitly stated otherwise herein, You acknowledge that all vendor bookings are final and are non-refundable. Vendor credentials / wristbands can only be redeemed once. Vendor credentials / wristbands will not be replaced under ANY condition after redemption. The Event is scheduled to proceed regardless of weather conditions. Based on a case-by-case basis, and at the sole discretion of Anime Wonder, vendors may be eligible for future event vendor credit that can be applied to upcoming events. The event organizer will make reasonable efforts to market and promote the event through various channels, including but not limited to social media, email marketing, traditional media, and other advertising methods. Our goal is to provide a successful experience for all vendors and attendees. However, the event organizer does not guarantee specific performance outcomes, such as sales or attendance, for any vendor. Market conditions, attendee preferences, and other factors beyond our control may impact the success of individual vendors. By participating in the event, vendors acknowledge this and agree that the event organizer shall not be held liable for any unmet expectations regarding sales or attendance. In the event of total or partial cancellation due to a Force Majeure Event (defined below), You will not be entitled to a refund. However, the Company may, at its sole discretion, issue partial or full refunds considering the extent and nature of the cancellation. A "Force Majeure Event" includes acts of God, terrorism, natural disasters, labor disputes, court orders, severe weather, or other uncontrollable events. All purchase fees are non-refundable 8. General Vendor rules 8.1. All vendors are solely responsible to comply with State and City laws. If any questions on permitting, please contact the State & City in which our event is taking place. 8.2. All food vendors shall not sell, distribute, or in any way disseminate alcoholic beverages, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. 8.3. Any unacceptable and unwanted behavior from Vendors and/or staff of vendors such as discrimination, unruliness, belligerence, theft or endangerment to vendors, staff of vendors, staff of Anime Wonder and/or its guests will be bound to immediate removal of the event and termination of vendor privileges with NO REFUND. There will be NO exceptions to this rule. 8.4. Vendor agrees to indemnify Anime Wonder, its affiliates, staff, employees, volunteers, partners and vendors of any and all claims and liabilities. It is at the discretion and the sole responsibility of the Vendor to obtain their own event liability insurance in case any unexpected occurrences arise. 9. Chargeback and Fraud Policy Initiating a chargeback against ticket purchases will result in legal action. Any dispute or chargeback, whether willfully or unwittingly filed as fraud, will be challenged, and legal remedies may be pursued to recover costs, including but not limited to attorney fees, damages and other associated penalties and fees. 10. Vendor Banning Policy Individuals initiating chargebacks or disputes against any vendor purchases will be banned from participating/vending in future events organized by Anime Wonder. 11. Conduct 11.1. Vendors must conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner at all times. 11.2. Harassment or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in immediate expulsion from the event. 11.3. Vendors must adhere to the rules and regulations of the venue and follow any instructions provided by event staff. 12. Liability 12.1. Participating vendors are responsible for their own liability insurance coverage. 12.2. Anime Wonder staff and venue owners are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur during the event. 13. Compliance 13.1. Vendors must comply with all rules and regulations outlined in this policy as well as any additional instructions provided by Anime Wonder. 13.2. Failure to comply may result in expulsion from the event without refund, and may result in future permanent bans from all Anime Wonder events. 14. Changes to Policy 14.1. Anime Wonder reserve the right to make changes or updates to this policy at any time. 14.2. Changes to policies or updates may or may not be sent as notifications. However, it is the sole responsibility of vendors to review policy changes from time to time at their sole discretion. By submitting an application to participate as a vendor for Anime Wonder, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
