Welcome to Anime Wonder! As we come together to celebrate our shared passion for anime and Japanese culture, it's crucial that we foster a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for everyone. By participating in Anime Wonder, you agree to uphold the following Code of Conduct:

1. Respect and Inclusivity

  • Treat all attendees with respect, kindness, and empathy, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, appearance, religion, or fandom preferences.

  • Respect personal boundaries and always ask for consent before initiating physical contact or taking photos.

2. Harassment-Free Environment

  • Harassment in any form, including verbal comments, unwelcome advances, intimidation, offensive language, or inappropriate imagery, will not be tolerated.

  • If you experience or witness harassment, discrimination, or misconduct, please report it to event staff immediately. We are here to support you and take appropriate action.

3. Cosplay Etiquette

  • Appreciate cosplayers' creativity and craftsmanship without objectifying or making them feel uncomfortable.

  • Ensure that costumes and props comply with event rules. Safety is paramount, so handle props responsibly and securely store them when not in use.

4. Alcohol and Substance Use

  • Consume alcohol responsibly within designated areas, if permitted by event policies. Public intoxication or substance abuse is strictly prohibited.

  • The use of illegal drugs or any other controlled substances is strictly prohibited.

5. Safety and Security

  • Follow all event rules, guidelines, and instructions provided by staff and security personnel.

  • In emergencies, remain calm and cooperate with staff and security to ensure the safety of everyone.

6. Hygiene and Cleanliness

  • Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness throughout the event. Shower regularly, wear deodorant, and dispose of trash responsibly.

  • Help keep event areas clean and tidy by disposing of trash in designated bins and respecting the venue's property.

7. Respect Venue Policies

  • Adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the event venue, including fire safety regulations, smoking policies, and occupancy limits.

  • Be mindful of noise levels and considerate of the surrounding community.

8. Children's Safety

  • Supervise children under your care at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being during the event.

  • Familiarize yourself with designated family-friendly areas and activities within the event.

9. Cyberbullying and Online Conduct

  • Show respect in online interactions and refrain from cyberbullying, trolling, or engaging in harmful online behavior.

  • Remember that your online actions can impact others' experiences, both during and after the event.

10. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

  • Follow all local, state, and federal laws and regulations while attending Anime Wonder.

  • Any illegal activity, such as theft, vandalism, or assault, will be reported to law enforcement.
