Policy update: 4/25/2024

Welcome to our Anime Wonder Vendor Policy. We are delighted that you are considering participating in our event as a vendor. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees and vendors alike, we have established the following guidelines and policies:

1. Vendor Eligibility:

Exhibitors

To maintain the authenticity and integrity of our event, vendors must adhere to the following eligibility criteria:

Officially Licensed Products: All merchandise for sale in the exhibit hall must be officially licensed. Vendors are prohibited from selling unofficial, unlicensed, or bootleg products. This encompasses a wide range of items, including but not limited to:

  • Blu-rays and DVDs

  • Posters and Wall Scrolls

  • Toys and Plush

  • Replicas and Props

  • Costumes and Apparel

  • Jewelry and Accessories

  • Parody Goods and Apparel

Parody Goods and Apparel: While the sale of parody goods and apparel is permitted, it must genuinely embody a transformative or satirical nature. For instance, items featuring Demon Slayer art may be considered bootleg merchandise if they lack genuine transformative elements.

Fan Art and Fan Crafts: Generally, the sale of fan art and fan crafts is not permitted as an exhibitor. However, exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Doujinshi: The sale of Japanese doujinshi is allowed and does not fall under the bootleg merchandise policy. These items are recognized as a unique aspect of anime culture and are therefore exempt from this restriction.

Artist Alley

  • All artwork and merchandise must be original creations of the artist or collaboratively produced with credit given to all contributors.

  • Fan art and derivative works inspired by existing anime, manga, or other intellectual properties are permitted, provided they are significantly transformative and distinguishable from the original source material.

  • Artwork featuring explicit or inappropriate content is prohibited to be displayed to the public. All 18+ content must be hidden from public display and should only be available for customers to view privately upon request.

2. Application Process

  • Interested vendors must complete and submit the vendor application form.

  • Submission of the application does not guarantee acceptance. Anime Wonder reserve the right to accept or reject applications based on various factors, including but not limited to product relevance, space availability, and adherence to event themes.

3. Booth Assignments

  • Booth assignments will be determined by Anime Wonder and communicated to vendors prior to the event.

  • Requests for specific booth locations will be considered but are not guaranteed.

  • Booth sharing is not permitted. Each booth is designated to one business entity only.

4. Setup and Teardown

  • Vendors are responsible for setting up and dismantling their booths within the designated setup and teardown times provided by Anime Wonder.

  • Vendors must keep their booth space clean and tidy throughout the event.

  • Any damage caused to the venue during setup or teardown will be the responsibility of the vendor.

5. Display Guidelines

  • All displays, signage, and merchandise must be appropriate for all ages.

  • Offensive or explicit material is strictly prohibited.

  • Vendors are encouraged to decorate their booths creatively to enhance the overall atmosphere of the event.

  • Large displays or structures must be approved by Anime Wonder in advance. Generally, all displays are allowed within your allocated vendor space, as long as they do not obstruct pathways or pose hazards to patrons.

6. Sales and Transactions

  • Vendors are solely responsible for conducting sales and transactions at their booths.

  • All sales must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including tax requirements and submissions.

  • Anime Wonder, and staff, are not liable for any financial transactions or disputes between vendors and customers.
